Overview
Creative tasks are not just for ‘designers’, many of us will need to create presentations and slide decks as part of our job. We built the Logi Boost beta application to tackle three big pain points. *Finding high resolution royalty-free images. *Cross-platform image transfer. *Accessing content from other accounts e.g. Pinterest.

The Challenge
Accessing images can be really frustrating, multiple browser tabs, watermarks, unknown folder locations, low-resolution and odd file formats...we’ve all been there. The biggest challenge was designing a coherent experience across 4 platforms (PC, Mac, Android, iOS) and trying to tackle the fragmented experience of image management. How might we aggregate a wide range of image sources and workflows into a single experience?
The Solution
By creating partnerships with image providers such as (Unsplash, Qwant, Pixabay), we were able to offer a service that delivered high-res royalty-free images that could be dropped into presentations, chat windows or emails. Logi Boost also allows people to connect their accounts like, Gdrive, Pinterest and Instagram to access their content, removing the need to transfer from elsewhere. Finally if all else failed, you could seamlessly transfer images from your smartphone to Mac or PC and access them inside Logi Boost.
The Result
The Logi Boost Beta service was live for six months post launch and free to use. A lot of insight and learnings came out of this project, maybe in the future we will see something released to the public.
